Although they are made from hard-wearing fabric, they must be washed according to specific rules to ensure they last through the seasons. It is important to wash denim inside out and at a maximum temperature of 40°C to protect the fibres and preserve the colours. 100% cotton denim can be tumble-dried on a short programme but air-drying is still preferable.
